Great Bay is also known for the moon's perfect view rise over St. John island as the evening approaches. Beach amenities include parking, bathrooms, and snorkeling since most of the amenities are only available for guests and owners of the Ritz Carlton Club. So, you need to carry your chair, beach gear, or umbrella if you will need any of them. However, umbrellas are not a must because the palm and indigenous trees spread across the shoreline provide an ideal shade for relaxing while having your lunch. Order your lunch from the poolside restaurant. There are few parking slots at the beach, but you will not miss somewhere to park your car. The beach management does not charge an entry fee since this is a public beach. To access the beach, walk past the resort’s main entrance using the public road.
